What is The Property Edge?

The Property Edge is a premium property community that brings together investors, developers, landlords, and property professionals through high-quality networking events, expert speakers, and meaningful conversations.

Do I need experience in property to attend?

Not at all. Many of our attendees are experienced investors and professionals, but we also welcome people at the beginning of their property journey. Everyone starts somewhere, and our community is incredibly welcoming.

 

Can I attend on my own?

Absolutely. In fact, many people come to their first Property Edge event on their own. Our events are designed to be friendly and approachable, and you'll quickly find yourself in conversation with like-minded people.

 

Is there an age restriction?​

Our events are aimed at adults with an interest in property, business, and investing. Under-18s are welcome if accompanied by an adult and the event is suitable for them.

 

Event Questions

 

What happens at a typical event?

While every event is slightly different, most evenings include:

• Open networking

• A market update from Milesh Lakhani

• An expert speaker or panel session

• More networking afterwards

How long do the events last?​

Most events run for approximately two hours, including networking before and after the main session.

 

What time should I arrive?​

We recommend arriving around 15–20 minutes before the event starts so you have time to grab a drink, settle in, and start networking.

 

What should I wear?​

Most attendees dress in smart casual or business attire.  There is no strict dress code, we want people to feel comfortable and relaxed.

 

Do I need to bring anything?​

No, just yourself and plenty of business cards if you use them  Many people also like to bring a notebook to capture ideas and contacts.

 

Will there be refreshments?

This varies by venue and event, but details will be included on the event booking page.

 

Is parking available?

Most of our venues have parking available. Specific details and directions will be sent before the event and can also be found on the individual event page.

 

Networking Questions

 

Is the networking structured?

No. The networking is relaxed and informal, allowing conversations to happen naturally.

 

Is there lots of pitching and selling?

No. One of the things our attendees value most about The Property Edge is the atmosphere. People come to learn, build relationships, and have meaningful conversations, not to be aggressively sold to.

 

Can I promote my business?

We encourage genuine conversations and relationship building. The best way to do business at The Property Edge is to focus on adding value and getting to know people rather than making sales pitches.

 

Can I bring a colleague or friend?

Absolutely. Many attendees come with business partners, colleagues, clients, or friends who share an interest in property.

 

Booking Questions

 

How do I book a ticket?

Tickets can be booked directly through our Events page.

 

Do I need to book in advance?

We recommend booking in advance as some events do sell out and venue capacities are limited.

 

Can I pay on the door?

This depends on availability and the individual event. If tickets are still available, we'll usually accommodate walk-ins, but advance booking is always recommended.

 

What if I can no longer attend?

We understand that plans can change. If you're unable to attend, please get in touch with us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help. Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to transfer your booking to a future event.

Will I be the least experienced person in the room?

Absolutely not. Our events attract people at every stage of their property journey.

Where are your events held?

The Property Edge hosts regular events in Farnborough and increasingly brings events to new locations through Property Edge On Tour. Our ambition is to continue growing our community and bringing quality property events to more locations across the UK.

 

Do I need to live locally to attend?

Not at all. Many of our attendees travel from different parts of the country because they value the quality of the conversations and the people in the room.
